The Federal University of Technology Akure
(FUTA) will admit only 2,534 students out of the
11 students that sat for the 2015 post-UTME.
Explaining this, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in
charge of academics and Chairman, Admissions
Committee, Prof. Tunde Arayela said that the
decision to admit only 2,534 candidates was
based on the carrying capacity if the institution
across the various departments.
Commenting on the just concluded post-UTME
screening, he said that it is the best so far in the
university as it was hitch free and devoid of
malpractice.
Some of the candidates who commented also
commended the conduct of the screening by the
management of the institution.
